The Brief: Translate sound into a visual language without being literal about it.

Challenge: Adobe Audition is used by audio professionals worldwide. The splash screen is the first thing a user sees every time they open the product — it needed to feel like the software itself: precise, layered, alive with sound.

Approach: Sound is invisible but it has structure, rhythm, and depth. I worked with layered wave forms as a visual metaphor: not a representation of a waveform, but the feeling of audio architecture. Each layer has its own weight and movement, creating a composition that reads as both technical and expressive. The color palette references Audition's brand while pushing into something more atmospheric — a visual that feels like being inside sound.

Result: Delivered as the global splash screen for Adobe Audition 2024 seen by professionals every time they open the application, worldwide.
